Varsity Cheerleading Tryouts Information

The HGCS Athletic Department has hired a new Varsity Cheerleading coach for the 2017-2018 season, and we are excited for our cheerleaders to meet her next week at tryouts. In order to have sufficient time to teach and observe the girls before deciding on the final team roster, our new coach has extended tryouts to include Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Tryouts will be held in Gym C from 3:00 to 5:30pm on Monday, July 31st and Tuesday, August 1st, and from 2:00 to 5:30pm on Wednesday, August 2nd. The team will finish the week with practice from 2:00 to 5:00pm in Gym C on Thursday, August 3rd and Friday, August 4th.

Those planning to try out for the Varsity Cheerleading team should review the cheer information packet, which includes a practice schedule, team expectations/rules, and dress code for tryouts. This information packet should be signed and turned in on the first day of tryouts along with the rest of the required athletic forms (available on the school website).
