MS Cheer Tryouts

MS Cheer tryouts will be held Friday, August 18th and Tuesday, August 22nd after school until 4:30pm in rooms 4104 and 4106. ALL athletic forms (Athletic Physical Form, Athletic Participation Agreement, Athletic Medical Forms Packet) are due by the beginning of tryouts. These forms are available to download and print on the school website under "Athletics".

Please be sure to bring your uniform to wear for team pictures. All athletes will take individual pictures in addition to the team picture, even if they are not purchasing the individual picture. Please make sure to bring your Sports Picture Order Form and money to turn in to Julie Scott, the photographer, on picture day. 

Superhero Night at Varsity Football Friday

Next Friday, September 1st is Superhero Night at the Varsity Football home game against Concord First Assembly at 7:00pm! Students who dress for Superhero Night will be admitted to the game for just $1! Regular admission for the game is $5 (free for kids 10 & under).

Varsity Women's Basketball Workouts
Off-season workouts for Varsity Women's Basketball will be held every Monday and Wednesday starting Wednesday, September 6th in Gym C and the Field House after school until 4:30pm. Any girls interested in attending Varsity Women's Basketball workouts should contact Assistant Coach Rhonda Williams at rhondawilliams@hgchristian.org. 

Player Fees Due
Player fees for fall athletes are due before the first game of the team's season. Student-athletes who have not turned in their fees before the first game of their season will not be eligible to play in any games until all outstanding fees have been paid. Fees are $95 for MS and JV teams, and $105 for Varsity teams.

Volunteers Needed for Fall Season

The HGCS Athletic Department and AAA Booster Club need the help of volunteers to assist with admissions and concessions at athletic events throughout the fall season. Please sign up for a volunteer time slot on our Sign Up Genius page.

Don't forget to join the AAA Booster Club for the 2017-2018 school year! Visit http://hgchristian.org/aaa/ to register now! Booster Club Membership will give you free admission to all home athletic events excluding any MAC (Conference) tournament and NCISAA (state) tournament games.
