Please be sure to bring your uniform to wear for team pictures. All athletes will take individual pictures in addition to the team picture, even if they are not purchasing the individual picture. Please make sure to bring your Sports Picture Order Form and money to turn in to Julie Scott, the photographer, on picture day. 

Student Volunteers After Games
We are in need of high school students to help break down the field and clean up after home football games, beginning this Friday, September 1st. Students can receive community service hours for volunteering for clean-up. All student volunteers should meet Mrs. Garner at the top of the student section beside the press box immediately after the football game ends.

Superhero Night at Varsity Football Friday
This Friday, September 1st is Superhero Night at the Varsity Football home game against Concord First Assembly at 7:00pm! Students who dress for Superhero Night will be admitted to the game for just $1! Regular admission for the game is $5 (free for kids 10 & under).

Varsity Women's Basketball Workouts
Off-season workouts for Varsity Women's Basketball will be held every Monday and Wednesday starting Wednesday, September 6th in Gym C and the Field House after school until 4:30pm. Any girls interested in attending Varsity Women's Basketball workouts should contact Assistant Coach Rhonda Williams at rhondawilliams@hgchristian.org. 

Player Fees Due
Player fees for fall athletes are due before the first game of the team's season. Student-athletes who have not turned in their fees before the first game of their season will not be eligible to play in any games until all outstanding fees have been paid. Fees are $95 for MS and JV teams, and $105 for Varsity teams.

Volunteers Needed for Fall Season
The HGCS Athletic Department and AAA Booster Club need the help of volunteers to assist with admissions and concessions at athletic events throughout the fall season. Please sign up for a volunteer time slot on our Sign Up Genius page.
Shopping Boss Fundraiser
HGCS hosts two major fundraisers each year to support our growth in the areas of academics (technology), fine arts and athletics from TK all the way to 12th grade. We are excited to introduce a new opportunity this fall called ShoppingBoss!

What is ShoppingBoss and how does it work? ShoppingBoss is a members-only shopping program/app that works with national retailers and restaurants. For a $20 donation, you will receive an average of 6% cash back at over 250 of the biggest National Brands. All the money you make is yours to keep just for supporting HGCS! Half of each ShoppingBoss sold goes right back to HGCS to support academics, fine arts and athletics. Our goal for this fundraiser is 100% participation from every student TK - 12th grade, with each student selling at least 2 ShoppingBoss codes.

Join AAA Booster Club
Don't forget to join the AAA Booster Club for the 2017-2018 school year! Visit http://hgchristian.org/aaa/ to register now! Booster Club Membership will give you free admission to all home athletic events excluding any MAC (Conference) tournament and NCISAA (state) tournament games.

Sign Up for Remind Notifications
Notifications about athletic event cancellations, changes, and reminders are sent out via text through Remind. You must sign up with Remind to receive these text notifications on your phone. To sign up with Remind, text @hgcslions to the number 81010.
